Battlefield Equipment Rentals in Charlottetown, PEI is seeking a Class 3A Delivery Driver (Propane Cylinders). This full-time role involves delivering propane and equipment to customer sites, loading/unloading, and maintaining safe, efficient operations on a daily route.

Responsibilities

• Deliver propane and equipment safely to customer sites.
• Load/unload and secure loads per safety standards.
• Maintain logs and documentation for deliveries.
• Communicate delivery updates and route changes to dispatch.
• Inspect loads and report issues to the manager promptly.
• Prepare for next-day deliveries and assist on-site as needed.
• Work with branch team to support daily operations and customer needs.

Position: Class 3A Delivery Driver (Propane Cylinders)
Location: Charlottetown, PEI
Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00–$24.00/hr (based on experience)

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the road, working independently, and providing excellent customer service. As aClass 3A Delivery Driver (Propane Cylinders), you’ll be the direct link between our branch team and our customers on-site. Your professionalism, reliability, and commitment to safe driving helps maintain and strengthen our long‑term customer relationships.

What You’ll Be Doing

Deliver propane and equipment safely and efficiently to customer job sites.

Load, unload, tie down, and secure all equipment and products in accordance with safety standards and best practices.

• Provide excellent customer service while representing the company professionally on job sites.
• Maintain ongoing communication with dispatch regarding schedules, delivery updates, and route changes.
• Update driver log books and required documentation accurately and consistently.
• Inspect loads and equipment during deliveries and report any damages or issues to the manager promptly.
• Prepare for next‑day deliveries by fueling trucks, washing vehicles when required, and pre‑loading equipment.
• Work collaboratively with the branch team to support daily operations and customer needs
• Follow all workplace safety protocols and environmentally sound practices, making sure everyone stays safe.
• Team Player: Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• A Self‑Starter: Ability to work independently with a keen sense of time‑management and effective organizational skills.
• Construction Knowledge: Familiarity with construction equipment and building products.
• Endurance: Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly up to 50lbs. Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Experience tying down and securing various types of loads safely and effectively.
• Previous roll‑off truck experience considered an asset.
• Prior experience with both TRAC operation and Systematics would be considered an asset.
• A technical understanding of CAT equipment would be considered an asset.

What We're Looking For

Delivery Driving Experience: Experience delivering construction or landscaping equipment to job sites.
