Job summary

UPS is seeking a Package Driver for the Vars, Ontario area. The role involves delivering and picking up packages from residential and commercial properties, with emphasis on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in navigating locations using maps, GPS, and map books.
Possession of a valid Ontario G driver’s license and a clean driving abstract.

Responsibilities

Deliver and pick up UPS packages efficiently.
Learn and apply UPS safe and defensive driving methods.
Assist with loading and unloading trucks as required.
Record, track, and maintain information about delivered packages.
Comply with UPS appearance guidelines and wear provided uniform.

UPS Package Drivers deliver and pick up packages from residential and/or commercial properties. This role involves driving, continual lifting, lowering, and carrying packages in a physical, fast-paced environment. Drivers practice safe transportation methods while traveling to and from destinations, ensuring the best customer service through efficiency and dedication.

Job Type: Full-Time

Workdays: Monday- Friday

Work Location: 379 Corduroy Road, Vars, Ontario.

Shift Start: 9:00. Typical shifts are 8-10 hours. Flexibility is required for start and end times as work hours vary based on volume for the day.

Requirements

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in navigating and finding locations using maps, GPS devices, and map books
Possession of a valid Ontario G driver’s license
Clean Driver's Abstract confirming: A) No at-fault accidents within the last 3 years & no more than 2 violations for the previous 3 years period. B) No traffic violations within the last 12 months and 5 Demerit Points for the previous 3 years
