Sherwin-Williams in Vancouver, BC is seeking a SWDS Driver to deliver products from Sherwin-Williams stores using company vans or pickups. You will ensure deliveries are complete, packed correctly, and safely delivered to customers, while supporting customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include loading orders, maintaining the vehicle, providing excellent service, adhering to routes and safety rules, and performing store duties such as tinting and warehouse tasks.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
  • Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.

  • Load customer orders properly on the truck.
  • Deliver items safely and on time to customers.
  • Maintain the store vehicle and report repairs.
  • Provide excellent customer service and handle complaints.
  • Adhere to routes, time schedules, and safety laws.

  • Perform store duties including tinting, mixing, and warehousing tasks.

Drivers are accountable for customer satisfaction and for transporting items in a safe, timely manner.

SWDS Drivers are responsible for delivering products to customers from Sherwin-Williams stores using Company vans or pickup trucks. Drivers ensure deliveries are complete, packed correctly, and safely delivered to the correct customer. Drivers are accountable for customer satisfaction and for transporting items in a safe, timely manner. The individual selected for this role will be expected to work at Store #8846, located at: 3150 West Broadway Vancouver, BC V6K 2H3

Responsibilities
  • Ensure deliveries are prepared to meet customer requirements in the most efficient manner
  • Load customer orders properly on the truck
  • Ensure appropriate forms are completed
  • Load, transport, and deliver items to customers in a safe, timely manner
  • Maintain the store vehicle and alert the supervisor to repair and servicing needs
  • Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and handle complaints from customers
  • Adhere to assigned routes and follow time schedules
  • Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record
  • Prepare reports and other documents relating to deliveriesOperate equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.
  • Perform other tasks in the store, including warehouse duties, tinting and mixing customer orders, and waiting on customers
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment
  • Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License
  • Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Have a High School diploma or a Certificate of Adult Education Completion (CAEC)
  • Have at least one (1) year of experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position
  • Have at least one (1) year of work experience using material handling equipment (for example: forklifts (stand and sit), pallet jacks, hand trucks, order pickers, vacu-hoists, drum dollies, conveyor belts, etc.)
  • Have previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language
