Sherwin-Williams is seeking a Driver to deliver products from Store #768944 at 2050 Eglinton Ave E, Scarborough, ON. You will load, transport, and deliver orders, maintain vehicle safety, and provide excellent service to customers.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 70 lbs, and adherence to routes and schedules. Prior delivery or paint product knowledge is a plus; bilingual abilities are helpful in this diverse market.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment.
  • Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
  • Internal to Sherwin-Williams, must have a rating of at least ‘meets expectations’ on the latest performance appraisal.
  • Internal to Sherwin-Williams, must have completed HR Cloud eLearning courses for current position.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare deliveries to meet customer requirements efficiently.
  • Load customer orders on the truck correctly.
  • Complete required forms for deliveries.
  • Transport and deliver items to customers safely and on time.
  • Maintain store vehicle and report needs to supervisor.

  • Produce reports and delivery-related documents.
  • Operate vehicles and equipment (cars, trucks, forklifts).
  • Assist with store tasks including warehouse duties, tinting and mixing orders, and serving customers.

SWDS Drivers are responsible for delivering products to customers from Sherwin-Williams stores using Company vans or pickup trucks. Drivers ensure deliveries are complete, packed correctly, and safely delivered to the correct customer. Drivers are accountable for customer satisfaction and for transporting items in a safe, timely manner.

The individual selected for this role will be expected to work at Store #768944, located at: 2050 Eglinton Ave E Scarborough, ON M1L 2M8.


Responsibilities


  • Ensure deliveries are prepared to meet customer requirements in the most efficient manner

  • Load customer orders properly on the truck

  • Ensure appropriate forms are completed

  • Load, transport, and deliver items to customers in a safe, timely manner

  • Maintain the store vehicle and alert the supervisor to repair and servicing needs

  • Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and handle complaints from customers

  • Adhere to assigned routes and follow time schedules

  • Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record

  • Prepare reports and other documents relating to deliveries

  • Operate equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.

  • Perform other tasks in the store, including warehouse duties, tinting and mixing customer orders, and waiting on customers


Qualifications

Minimum Requirements


  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment

  • Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License

  • Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.

  • If internal to Sherwin-Williams, you must have received at least a “meets expectations” (3) rating on your most recent performance appraisal

  • If internal to Sherwin-Williams, you must have completed all HR Cloud eLearning courses required for your current position


Preferred Qualifications


  • Have a High School diploma or a Certificate of Adult Education Completion (CAEC)

  • Have at least one (1) year of experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position

  • Have at least one (1) year of work experience using material handling equipment (for example: forklifts (stand and sit), pallet jacks, hand trucks, order pickers, vacu-hoists, drum dollies, conveyor belts, etc.)

  • Have previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products

  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language
