Job summary

A delivery services company is looking for delivery drivers to operate vehicles for parcel and message delivery. The position is on-site in Quebec and requires attention to detail and customer service skills. Candidates need to show reliability, flexibility, and be team players. Location: Québec, QC G1N 4L2 (On site)

Salary: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour (to be negotiated) / 35 hours per week.

Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time, Day/Evening/Night/Weekend.

Responsibilities
Tasks
  • Deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand.
  • Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.
  • Professionalism in customer service.
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
  • Load and unload goods.
  • Sort packages for delivery.
  • Follow directions and read map.
  • Use maps and other trip planning aids.
  • Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs and any problems.
  • Provide customer service.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle.
