Responsibilities
  • Safely operate company vehicles to pick up, transport, and deliver goods to customers in a timely manner
  • Load and unload packages, ensuring items are handled with care to avoid damage
  • Verify and reconcile delivery information such as addresses, invoices, or delivery notes
  • Maintain communication with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers regarding delivery status, delays, or issues
  • Follow assigned routes and schedules, optimizing delivery efficiency and fuel usage
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any mechanical issues or maintenance needs
  • Adhere to all traffic laws, safety standards, and company policies
  • Assist in warehouse operations when needed (sorting packages, staging deliveries, etc.)
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
  • Valid Ontario Class G driver's license with a clean driving record
  • At least 1-year local driving experience
  • Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role (logistics experience is an asset)
  • Ability to operate GPS and navigation apps confidently• Basic record‑keeping or smartphone app usage skills for logging deliveries
  • Good physical stamina
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Flexibility to work variable shifts, including weekends, evenings, and overtime when required
