Job summary

PGW Auto Glass is seeking a Warehouse/Delivery Driver to operate a company vehicle and manage deliveries to customers. The role requires safe driving, proper loading/unloading, and adherence to company policies.

You will handle manifests, collect signatures and payments, and assist with stock and returns while supporting branch operations.

Qualifications

• Clean driving record required.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Drives company vehicle safely and courteously.
• Loads the company truck and verifies paperwork.
• Lifts up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
• Delivers orders, verifies product, and collects customer signatures and payments.
• Notes on manifests and provides receipts for returns.
• Collects and delivers parts on buy-out purchase orders.
• Collects COD payments when required.
• Prevents shortages and damage to products.
• Follows company policies and procedures.
• Assumes other duties as assigned.
• Drivers over 10,001 lbs must comply with DOT procedures.

As a part of our growth, PGW Auto Glass, a leader in the Auto Glass industry with over 100 years experience, is looking for a dedicated and passionate Warehouse/Delivery Driver. PGW has over 160 warehouses throughout the United States and Canada. The Delivery Driver must have an excellent driving record. The Delivery Driver will be responsible for operating a Company vehicle to deliver products to customers. PGW offers competitive pay, matching 401K, medical, vision, dental, and PTO.

Essential Job Duties

• Drives a Company vehicle in a safe, courteous, and responsible manner.
• Physically loads Company truck at the branch and verifies the condition of the truck, the manifest and other paperwork associated with the deliveries to be made.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis and up to 75 lbs. occasionally.
• Drives to the delivery destination, confirms order with customer, unloads and verifies product, obtains confirmation signature and payment from customer.
• Makes proper notations on the manifest and provides receipts on parts being returned from customers to the branch.
• Picks up buy out purchase orders from vendors on vendor \"fill in\" purchase orders and delivers parts back to the branch or customer.
• Collects COD payments, as necessary.
• Works in such a manner as to prevent shortages and damage to products.
• Complies with established Company policies and procedures.
• Assumes other duties as assigned.

Drivers over 10,001 lbs.

• Subject to DOT Procedures - driver logs, unexpired medical card, etc.
