Job summary

Responsibilities

• Zones the department.
• Rotates stock and checks for expired products.
• Ensures merchandise is signed and priced.
• Adheres to cold chain, thermometer calibration, temperature recording and food handling standards.
• Takes orders for deli merchandise; slices and prepares meat, cheese and other items; assists customers.
• Assists front end with price checks.
• Prepares deli foods using slicers, rotisserie oven and fryer; assembles salads and side dishes.
• Keeps the area neat, clean and organized.
