Choices Markets Parksville is seeking a Deli Manager to lead daily Deli operations and uphold the highest standards of food quality, safety and presentation. You will coach staff, manage ordering and inventory, and work closely with Store Management to achieve department and store goals.

The ideal candidate is an outstanding communicator, service-oriented, proficient in Outlook and Excel, with experience in ordering and inventory control and a willingness to work evenings and weekends.

Choices Markets Parksville currently has an opening for a people-oriented leader with strong communication skills to join our team as a Deli Manager.
The Deli Manager is responsible for leading the daily operations of the Deli Department while providing excellent customer service and maintaining high standards of food quality, cleanliness, safety, and presentation. The role oversees and supports team members, delegates daily tasks, provides training and coaching, maintains department standards, and ensures company policies and procedures are followed. The Deli Manager is also responsible for department organization, inventory and ordering, merchandising, product rotation, waste and shrink control, food safety and sanitation, and creating a positive and productive team environment. The position works closely with Store Management to support department performance, customer satisfaction, employee development, and overall store goals.

The ideal person for this position will:

• be an outstanding communicator with excellent writing skills;

• be creative, intuitive and willing to share ideas;
• be proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Excel;
