Longo's in Vaughan is seeking a Deli Assistant Department Manager – Full Time who is passionate about food and thrives in a fast-paced team environment. You will assist the Deli Manager to ensure smooth daily operations and uphold high standards of customer service.

You will mentor Team Members, lead meetings, train staff, manage inventory and merchandising, and help meet financial objectives while maintaining health and safety and food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in a deli department with solid product knowledge.
• Strong customer service skills and relationship building.
• Ability to lead, coach, motivate and work in a fast paced environment.
• Strong computer skills and quick learner of new systems.
• Ownership to resolve issues with urgency.
• Effective communication and listening skills.
• Creativity to craft eye catching displays.

Responsibilities

• Motivate and mentor Team Members.
