Overview

Strong preference will be given to CAC candidates. Our Deer Park Food Store in Red Deer is looking for casual Deli Clerks to join our team.

Casual: less than 24 hours/week.

Availability requirements: Weekdays and weekends – mornings (6:00 am start), afternoons and evenings (up to 10:00 pm).

Responsibilities
  • Customer service at the deli
  • Prepare sandwiches, pizzas, salads, fried foods, special trays, etc.
  • Stock, package, slice, and label products for purchase
  • Ensure a clean and sanitary work environment
  • Other duties as assigned by the manager
Qualifications
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Some heavy lifting is required (up to 50 lbs.)
  • Experience with food preparation is an asset; training available
  • Must be over the age of 14 (Employment Standards requires a permit to employ a person age 14 or under; therefore, disclosure is required)
