Job description

Our government defence client is requesting a Logistics Consultant to provide expert advice and staff assistance in logistic concept development, codify best practices, and develop an understanding in a Contested Congested Logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities :
  • Conduct comprehensive research and analysis to understand current practices, challenges, and emerging trends related to Operational Support (OS) in a non-permissive operating environment.
  • Draft Doctrine Notes for changes to allow clarity for operations. This academic work will enable the organization to integrate requirements and enhance the coherence of capability development efforts.
  • Explore logistics residual authorities as a new concept.
  • Assist in the preparation, development, and coordination of capability planning and development.
  • Make recommendations and provide advice for improvements, and assist in developing solutions and implementing recommendations.
  • Analyze stakeholders' business objectives and recommend and develop solutions to address their needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
  • Minimum six (6) years of experience in corporate logistics management or logistic business practices at a senior level (e.g., Product Manager or Field-Grade Officer).
  • Experience developing and implementing operational-level doctrine, concepts, capabilities, and/or procedures related to Operational Support (OS) or Command Support (CS).
  • Experience with Global Supply Chain management and its relation to military operations.
  • Experience participating in or running Rehearsal of Concept (ROC) drills or wargaming.
