Job summary

A leading provider in communications solutions is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth in the Canadian Government and Defence markets. This role requires building relationships with military and government stakeholders and developing business strategies. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, prior CAF experience, and a proven track record in business development within Defence communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong technical sales background with satellite/IP/carrier network technologies.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity and Type 1 encryption technologies.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with military personnel and government stakeholders.
• Identify customer requirements for satellite communication products.
• Develop strategies for Government and Defence programs.

Skills

Technical sales background

Knowledge of cybersecurity

Understanding of Government and Military markets

Prior experience within the Canadian Armed Forces

Business development experience

Experience with large military contractors

Bid and proposal process management

Education
