Job summary

Pacer Group in Canada is seeking a Senior DDI Engineer/Architect to design, implement, and optimize enterprise DNS, DHCP, and IPAM (DDI) services across on-prem and cloud. You will lead architecture decisions and ensure high availability.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in network engineering and 5+ years hands-on with enterprise DDI platforms such as Infoblox, Blue Cat, or Diamond IP, plus experience with redundancy, security, and hybrid cloud DNS.

Responsibilities

• Manage redundancy, failover, IPv4/IPv6, and DR for DDI.
• Troubleshoot complex DDI issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Implement DNS security (DNSSEC, SPF, DKIM, DMARC) and cloud DNS.
• Support AWS, Azure, and hybrid cloud DNS environments.
• Lead cloud migrations and DDI modernization initiatives.
• Collaborate with network, security, cloud, and infra teams.
• Maintain architecture docs and ensure security/compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support enterprise DNS, DHCP, and IPAM (DDI) solutions using Infoblox, Blue Cat, or Diamond IP.
• Manage DNS/DHCP redundancy, failover, IPv4/IPv6, and disaster recovery.
• Troubleshoot complex DNS/DHCP issues and perform advanced root cause analysis.
• Implement DNS security including DNSSEC, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.
• Support AWS, Azure, and hybrid cloud DNS environments.
• Manage public DNS, CDN, GTM/GSLB, Akamai/Cloudflare, SSL/TLS, and traffic steering.
• Lead cloud migrations, M&A integrations, and DDI modernization initiatives.
• Collaborate with network, security, cloud, and infrastructure teams.
• Maintain architecture documentation and support security, compliance, SIEM, and ITIL requirements.
• Provide technical leadership for complex enterprise DDI projects.
