Job summary

The Salvation Army Canada and Bermuda Territory is seeking a Day Service Facilitator to join the Day Services team. The role focuses on developing and implementing recreational, social, and educational programming tailored to members’ needs, while providing emotional and physical support and crisis intervention as required.

Qualifications

• Completed high school, grade 12 or the equivalent.
• Valid Manitoba Class 5F driver license.
• Criminal record check including Vulnerable Sector (Winnipeg Police or RCMP).
• Manitoba Child Abuse Registry check
• Manitoba Adult Abuse Registry check

Responsibilities

• Provide emotional and physical support to members and crisis intervention as needed.
• Develop and implement recreational, social, and educational programming.
• Assist with transportation to and from locations and ensure safety during travel.
• Support members in daily activities and promote independence.
