Intact is seeking a Database Manager – Operations Technology to lead Oracle and MongoDB platforms, driving operational excellence and a high‑performing team. The role oversees budgets, vendor governance, and a cloud/AI‑enabled transformation aligned with engineering teams.
The successful candidate will have deep database expertise, strong governance skills, and the ability to partner across architecture, application teams, and leadership to advance our database cloud strategy.

Salary range (but not limited to): 128,300 – 156,800 CAD.
Annual bonus target: 15% of base salary, with a potential payout up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance).

Defined benefit pension plan provides guaranteed income for life.

The role is accountable for operational excellence of mission‑critical database services, budget ownership, vendor governance, and the development of a highly engaged database team closely working with software engineering teams.
The successful candidate will demonstrate proven experience leading database teams, a deep appreciation for operational discipline and environmental stability, and the ability to partner with architecture and application teams while advancing our database cloud and AI‑enabled transformation strategy.
