Job summary

Medisca Inc. is seeking a Database Administrator to own data health, accuracy, and performance across multi-system environments. You will map data flows between CRM, ERP, e-commerce, and other platforms while ensuring compliance and reliability.

You will design data architectures, implement data quality controls, and optimize T-SQL, indexes, and query plans. This role requires strong communication between technical and business teams and a proactive, data-driven mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5+ years in a DBA or data architecture/engineering role.
• Strong SQL Server experience and advanced T-SQL/query optimization skills.
• Experience with data mapping across system migrations or integrations.
• Experience with CRM, ERP, and e-commerce data.
• Understanding of data stewardship, governance, and privacy/compliance basics.
• Experience with HA/DR and database security fundamentals.
• Strong communicator, able to bridge technical and business audiences.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the performance, accuracy, and availability of SQL Server databases.
• Design data architecture and data mapping for system changes, migrations, and integrations (CRM, ERP, etc.).
• Build knowledge of data across systems and formats (CSV, JSON, XML, EDI, APIs).
• Support data sharing between platforms and partners using various transfer methods.
• Act as a data steward: define and uphold data quality standards.
• Ensure privacy and compliance in data handling.
• Write and optimize complex T-SQL and indexing strategies.
• Maintain high-availability and disaster recovery strategies.
