Job summary

RBC's Data Security Automation and Engineering team seeks a Senior Manager to lead a team of Senior Security Automation Engineers, driving innovative solutions to protect the organization. You will balance technical leadership with people management to deliver scalable automation and enhance security posture.

You will mentor engineers, define priorities and roadmaps for SOAR integration, and collaborate with cross-functional security groups to implement effective incident response automation

Qualifications

• 5-7 years in cybersecurity with at least 3 years in development or security automation.
• Proficient in Python; strong knowledge of relational and non-relational databases.
• Experience leading and mentoring technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Senior Security Automation Engineering team and set priorities.
• Define technical strategy for SOAR platform integration and incident response automation.
• Oversee playbook design, testing, and refinement at scale.
• Collaborate with Global Security teams to improve defensible posture.
