Tiger Analytics is seeking experienced Data Scientists to join our rapidly expanding advanced analytics consulting firm. As a Data Scientist, you will leverage your AI expertise through machine learning, data mining, and information retrieval to design, prototype, and develop next-generation analytics engines and services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and business partners to define technical problems and hypotheses. Your role involves developing efficient, accurate analytical models that mimic business decisions, and integrating these models into data products and tools. You will also influence current and future strategies by applying your analytical skills to ensure business value and communicate insights effectively.

Key Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with business partners to develop innovative solutions using cutting-edge techniques and tools.
2. Experiment, evaluate, and create generative AI products for tasks such as data extraction, document summarization, and other generative model applications.
3. Apply fine-tuning and advanced knowledge retrieval methods to enhance generative AI model performance on specific tasks.
4. Assess model performance and implement improvements.
5. Work with data scientists, engineers, MLOps engineers, prompt engineers, and product owners to develop generative AI products.
6. Engineer features by leveraging business insights to combine internal and external data sources creatively.
7. Promote Data Science within the organization by developing processes, frameworks, tools, and standards.
8. Collaborate, mentor, and learn within a growing team of Data Scientists.
9. Engage with external communities through conferences and industry events to stay updated on new ideas.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in GenAI Data Science.
• Proficiency in Python, including managing dependencies, virtual environments, and version control with git.
• Experience with sequential algorithms such as LSTM, RNN, transformer models.
• Familiarity with Bedrock, JumpStart, HuggingFace platforms.
• Knowledge of AI ethical considerations and mitigation strategies (e.g., red-teaming).
• Expertise in supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, and transfer learning.
• Experience with generative algorithms like GANs, VAEs, and pre-trained models such as LLaMa, SAM.
• Proven ability to develop models from inception to deployment.
