Job summary

Open Systems Technologies in Montreal, QC seeks a hands-on ML/Data Science specialist to join a machine learning team developing AI solutions, predictive analytics, and Gen AI. You will write robust Python code, build models, and work with clients/SMEs to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

You will contribute to model evaluation, feature selection, parameter tuning, and prompt engineering for data analysis, plus ongoing monitoring and maintenance of deployed solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in computer science or related field.
• Hands-on ML/Data Science solutions for real-world problems.
• Understanding of ML concepts, best practices and analysis.
• Experience with OpenAI and LLMs, prompt engineering, testing, and evaluation.

Job description

• The candidate will be working within a machine learning team/squad. The team is working on developing Artificial Intelligence solutions including ML and Gen AI. The candidate should be familiar with python development, predictive analytics and prompt engineering. The candidate should be able to work with different Clients/SME’s and understand the business requirements proper python code development, develop machine learning models with proven evidence and analysis. Good candidates should be familiar with machine learning model/Gen AI based solutions lifecycle and maintenance including ongoing monitoring.
• Contribute to development and maintenance of Machine Learning models for business problems.
• Contribute to model evaluation, parameter tuning, feature selection and model calibration experiments for predictive analytics projects.
• Contribute towards prompt engineering for data analysis and discovery.
• Conduct regular testing and performance analysis.
• Conduct necessary in benchmarking experiments.

Skills Required
