Homebase is hiring a Manager, Data Science to lead a growing team that shapes how data powers product, platform, and people. You will shepherd models from proof-of-concept to production, influencing scheduling, hiring, payroll, pricing, and personalization across internal systems and product features.

The role emphasizes leadership, practical ML delivery, and strategic collaboration with Engineering, Product, and Design in a hybrid, AI-driven environment.

Qualifikationen

• 6+ years of experience in data science, applied machine learning, or AI product development
• 2+ years in a people leadership role, mentoring and growing data scientists
• Strong background in machine learning (optimization, traditional ML, or frontier models)
• Proven track record of shipping ML models into production
• Proficient in SQL and Python
• Strong people leader with a focus on growth, empathy, and impact
• Strong ability to partner cross-functionally with business and product teams
• Commitment to driving outcomes in a hybrid, AI-first environment where speed and ownership matter
• Brings curiosity, empathy, and a growth mindset to problem-solving and leadership

We're hiring a Manager, Data Science who’s excited to lead a team transforming how data powers product, platform, and people at Homebase. This role is ideal for someone who wants to shape the future of applied AI at scale—leading everything from intelligent scheduling and hiring models to supporting internal sales and marketing decisions.
