Job summary

Maples Group in Montreal is seeking a Data and Reporting Analyst for a 3-month contract to support institutional clients with daily data management and reporting tasks.

You will work with the Fund Admin team on data processes, ensure accuracy, and help design reporting / onboarding for new clients while staying aligned with industry standards.

The role requires a university degree in finance or accounting, up to 2 years’ experience, strong Excel skills (VBA a plus), and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• University degree in finance or accounting required.
• Recent graduate or up to 2 years’ experience in finance, accounting or financial services.
• Accounting or fund administration experience is a plus.
• Strong technical and systems skills.
• Experience in relationship management and client service.

Responsibilities

• Report to Vice President and support day-to-day institutional client operations.
• Collaborate with Fund Admin team on data management and funds accounting processes.
• Maintain portfolio accounting data in relevant systems accurately and timely.
• Design and implement accounting and reporting processes; assist in client onboarding and requirements gathering.
• Demonstrate awareness of industry trends and technology.
• Coordinate with internal and external parties to resolve issues and develop bespoke client solutions.
• Participate in various projects.
