Role Overview

As a Data Quality Engineer within the Global Markets division, you will ensure the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of data across trading, risk, and compliance systems. The role requires strong technical skills in data validation and automation, working closely with trading technology teams, quants, risk management, and data engineering to implement data quality solutions that support decision-making and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement automated data quality checks for real-time and batch trading data.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes and product rollouts.
• Monitor and validate data pipelines related to trade execution, pricing, risk analytics, and post-trade settlement.
• Collaborate with trading desks, quants, and data engineers to resolve data anomalies.
• Build solutions for data profiling, lineage, and metadata management for traceability and compliance.
• Integrate data validation into CI/CD pipelines to ensure ongoing data reliability.
• Conduct root cause analysis for data issues and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with global financial regulations.
• Work with DevOps and Cloud teams to optimize data quality solutions in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Leverage AI/ML models for proactive anomaly detection.

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Quality Assurance.
• Experience in automation testing with Java (backend, API).
• Hands-on experience with Python for automation.
• Proficiency in SQL for data validation and large dataset querying.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and embedding data quality tests.
• Experience with cloud data services (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
