CoreFactor is seeking a Manager, Data Platforms for a permanent role with a client in the Greater Toronto Area. The position is hybrid, requiring two in-office days per week.

The role leads the data platforms strategy, including Snowflake, cloud data services, and data engineering to enable secure, scalable data use. The ideal candidate has 5–10 years in data governance, data modelling, architecture and master metadata, with strong leadership and change-management skills.

Formación

• Undergraduate degree in Data Science, AI, CS, Business Admin or related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in data governance, data stewardship, data modelling, data architecture, and master/metadata management.
• Experience with change management and driving adoption of data practices.
• Strong experience leading enterprise Snowflake platforms and engineering teams, including platform strategy and governance.
• Proficiency with Power BI, Tableau, Looker or similar analytics tools.

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive data platform strategy and capabilities.
• Lead planning, design, delivery, operation and improvement of enterprise data platforms.
• Coach and develop data services staff and cross-functional teams.
• Establish data engineering standards, reusable patterns and practices.
