Job description

We are seeking a hands-on Cloud Engineer with deep expertise in AWS services, strong experience in CI/CD pipeline development, and solid working knowledge of Snowflake.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing cloud data solutions, automating infrastructure with Terraform, and supporting data integration and analytics initiatives.

What you'll do
AWS Platform Engineering:
  • Architect, implement, and manage AWS data services (S3, Glue, Lambda, RDS, EC2, IAM, Step Functions, etc.).

  • Build and automate scalable data pipelines and integrations using AWS-native tools.

  • Ensure security, performance, and cost optimization across AWS resources.

CI/CD & Infrastructure as Code:
  • Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.

  • Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to provision and manage AWS and Snowflake resources.

  • Apply automation and DevOps to every stage of the data platform.

Snowflake Integration & Data Engineering:
  • Integrate Snowflake with AWS services for seamless data movement and analytics.

  • Support data engineering teams in leveraging Snowflake for data warehousing, transformation, and analytics workloads.

  • Apply working knowledge of Snowflake administration, query optimization, and cost management.

Migration & Modernization:
  • Support the migration of on-premises data solutions to AWS and Snowflake, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity.

  • Develop migration strategies, including schema conversion, data transfer, and application integration.

Collaboration & Support:
  • Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, and IT teams to deliver integrated solutions.

  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.

Documentation & Best Practices:
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for AWS, Snowflake, and CI/CD configurations and processes.

  • Establish and enforce best practices for cloud security, compliance, and operational excellence.

What you'll bring
  • 7+ years of experience in cloud engineering or data engineering, with a strong AWS focus.

  • Proven hands-on experience with AWS data services and automation.

  • Advanced proficiency with CI/CD pipeline design and management.

  • Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.

  • Working knowledge of Snowflake data platform and integration patterns.

  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):
  • AWS, Snowflake, or Terraform certifications.

  • Experience with Python or other scripting languages for automation.

  • Experience with cloud migration projects.

  • Familiarity with PostgreSQL or other RDBMS administration.
