You will work with Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, and Azure data technologies within the Enterprise Data Management team.

The role combines operational support, SQL development, reporting, and data analysis responsibilities, offering exposure to modern data platforms and data governance practices.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor scheduled data loads, ETL processes, and reporting activities.

The successful candidate will assist with troubleshooting data issues, monitoring data pipelines, supporting reporting environments, and contributing to the development of scalable data solutions. This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in modern data platforms including Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, SQL Server, Power BI, and Azure data technologies.Key ResponsibilitiesData Operations & SupportMonitor scheduled data loads, ETL processes, and reporting activities.Investigate and resolve data, reporting, and application support issues.Perform data validation and reconciliation activities.Assist with incident response and problem resolution.Escalate issues appropriately and document resolutions.Maintain support and operational procedures.Monitor overnight production data processes (ETL) on weeknights by responding to database-related alerts and escalationsProvide database-related support on weekends as required SQL & Data DevelopmentDevelop and maintain SQL queries, views, stored procedures, and scripts.Support data integration and transformation processes.Assist with database troubleshooting and performance analysis.Participate in testing and validation activities for data initiatives.Help automate recurring operational and reporting tasks.Reporting & AnalyticsDevelop and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI and other reporting platforms.Support business users with reporting requests and data inquiries.Monitor data quality and report accuracy.Assist in documenting business definitions and reporting standards.Identify opportunities for reporting and process improvements.Data Platform & Architecture SupportAssist with implementation of enterprise data solutionsSupport Snowflake and Microsoft-based data platforms.Contribute to data modeling, integration, and migration initiatives.Participate in data governance and quality activities.Work closely with senior Data Engineers and Data Architects on project delivery.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree, diploma, or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.3 to 5 years experience working with data, reporting, SQL, business intelligence, or application support.Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.Interest in data engineering, analytics, or enterprise data platforms.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to learn new technologies and processes quickly.Strong communication and organizational skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience with SQL Server or Snowflake.Experience with Power BI, SSRS, or similar reporting tools.Familiarity with ETL or data integration concepts.Exposure to Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, or cloud technologies.Experience supporting business applications or production environments.Knowledge of financial services is an asset.Experience with PowerShell, Python, or automation tools is an asset.#LI-SK1 #LI-Onsite #INDHPAll applications will be held in strict confidence.In order to be considered for employment, candidates selected for interviews will be required to show proof of citizenship, permanent residence or eligibility to work in Canada with no restrictions.Protecting your online safety:Canaccord Genuity and its affiliates do not use text messages for recruitment purposes.
