Job Title: Data Analytics
Job Summary The Data Analytics is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to help the organization make data-driven decisions. This role involves using statistical techniques, data visualization tools, and analytical models to identify patterns, trends, and insights that improve business performance and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and validate data from multiple sources (databases, APIs, spreadsheets, CRM, ERP systems).
- Analyze and interpret datasets to identify meaningful trends, patterns, and correlations.
- Develop dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Excel to communicate insights effectively.
- Work with stakeholders across departments (marketing, finance, operations, product) to understand business requirements and deliver data solutions.
- Automate data processes and reporting pipelines using SQL, Python, or R.
- Create and maintain databases and data models to support analytics and forecasting.
- Perform statistical analysis and use predictive models to support business decisions.
- Monitor data quality and implement validation checks for accuracy and consistency.
- Support KPI development and performance tracking for strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with data engineers and business intelligence teams to optimize data workflows.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in data analysis, business analytics, or a related role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and managing structured data.
- Hands‑on experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, macros).
- Knowledge of Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.
- Familiarity with data modeling, ETL processes, and database management systems (e.g., MySQL, Snowflake, BigQuery).
- Strong understanding of statistics and quantitative analysis techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking skills.
- Strong communication skills to present complex insights clearly to non‑technical stakeholders.
