Job summary

MethodHub in Toronto, Canada is seeking an experienced Data Modeler responsible for designing, governing, and optimizing data models to migrate workflows from Alteryx into Azure Synapse. The role covers conceptual, logical, and physical modelling across Synapse SQL, Data Lake structures, and transformation pipelines.

You will translate Alteryx workflows into optimized schemas, validate models with SMEs and engineers, and ensure governance, RLS, and performance requirements are met.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in enterprise data modelling.
• Strong experience with Synapse SQL, SQL Server, and ADLS.
• Experience translating Alteryx workflows into data models.
• Proficiency with modelling tools (ER/Studio, ERwin, SQL DBM, etc.).
