As the #1 submeter provider in the New York and Canadian markets, and one of the largest in North America, Metergy boasts over 850,000 contracted meters, issues more than 2 million utility invoices annually, and employs over 400 dedicated team members. Our successful acquisitions have consistently exceeded expectations, unlocking immense growth potential.

Metergy is proudly a portfolio company of Brookfield Infrastructure Partners, one of the world’s largest investors, owners, and operators of infrastructure assets across the utilities, transport, energy, data, and sustainable resources sectors. This partnership provides Metergy with access to substantial capital, infrastructure investment expertise, and a global reach, positioning us for continued success and innovation.

Role Overview
Data & Market Intelligence Manager

This role bridges analytics and business insight — uncovering market trends, pricing opportunities, and portfolio performance to guide strategic decisions. The analyst will translate data into actionable recommendations that position Metergy to move forward on a fast‑growth trajectory with precision, confidence, and scalability.

Responsibilities
  • Market & Portfolio Analysis: Identify trends and opportunities across Metergy’s current footprint to support market expansion, pricing strategy, and growth planning.
  • Financial & Sales Insight: Build data‑driven narratives for client and sales meetings, leveraging internal and external benchmarks to highlight ROI, performance, and competitive position.
  • Modeling & Forecasting: Develop and maintain financial and operational models that evaluate pricing, penetration, and revenue scenarios.
  • Data Infrastructure & Reporting: Create, automate, and maintain dashboards and reports in BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent) to improve visibility across teams.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Business Intelligence teams to align analytics with business goals and ensure consistent use of insights.
  • Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies in data collection, visualization, and reporting processes; propose improvements to enhance scalability.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in data analytics, strategy, or financial modeling—ideally within the utilities, real estate, or technology sectors. Experience in sales operations, sales support, or sales analytics is considered a strong asset.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, Salesforce and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of financial modeling, pricing strategy, and data visualization.
  • Exceptional problem‑solving skills and a proactive mindset — comfortable working in ambiguity and “getting hands dirty.”
  • Excellent communication and storytelling ability, translating technical findings into actionable business insight.
Benefits & Perks
  • 100% company‑covered health and dental benefits from day 1
  • Plan for retirement with Deferred Profit Sharing Plan (DPSP) and RRSP matching
