In this role, you will serve as a trusted steward of our Lands & ROW systems, ensuring data quality, integrity, and compliance with established standards. This role guides data management practices and supports data imports, aiding teams in making informed decisions with reliable land data.

What you will do:
  • Coordinate internal and external data sources, enforce agreements, evaluate changes, update standards.

  • Data Standards, Quality & Issue Resolution: Define, maintain, and standardize data definitions and entry rules for consistency as part of data stewardship.

  • Maintain documentation, develop training materials to educate users on proper procedures, promote governance benefits, update partners on critical metrics, and facilitate meetings to address challenges.

  • Support and verify bulk data imports, exports, archiving, and purging while ensuring compliance with retention and validation requirements. Ensure governed data supports accurate reporting, metrics, and dashboards, and assists in resolving related issues.

Who you are:
  • Related university degree. Equivalent combination of formal education, certification, and experience. Note for candidates who do not possess a degree, an additional 3 years of related experience is required.

  • 4 years of relevant data management, stewardship or business intelligence experience required working in energy or infrastructure sectors.

  • Applied knowledge of AI tools to support data governance, analytics, reporting, and application support.

  • Software proficiency in Python, FME, SQL, Excel. Knowledge of or experience with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) Microsoft Dynamics and Azure.

  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and commitment to data quality.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external partners.

Working Conditions:
  • Office based role.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

US Only Summary:
Salary - $76,700/year – $120,000/year USD

  • Pay credits are between 4% and 11% of eligible earnings, based on age and service
