We are currently seeking a Data Entry Clerk to join our growing remote team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, organized, and motivated professional who enjoys working with information and ensuring accuracy in all aspects of data handling.
Position Overview
The Data Entry Clerk will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining company and client data within our systems and databases. The role requires precision, confidentiality, and strong organizational skills to ensure all data is processed correctly and efficiently.
You will work closely with other administrative and operational departments to support ongoing business processes, ensuring data integrity and smooth workflow operations.
Key Responsibilities: Data Management & Entry
- Input, verify, and update data accurately in company databases, spreadsheets, and CRM systems.
- Review and correct data errors, inconsistencies, or duplications in records.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive company and client information.
- Prepare and organize source documents for data entry (invoices, forms, reports, etc.).
- Ensure timely completion of daily, weekly, and monthly data entry tasks.
Key Responsibilities: Quality Assurance & Reporting
- Conduct regular data quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Generate and format reports as needed for management or client review.
- Identify and flag potential discrepancies for correction.
- Support audit and compliance processes by maintaining organized data records.
Administrative Support
- Collaborate with other departments to fulfill data requests or project-related needs.
- Assist with document management, record keeping, and filing systems (digital and physical).
- Support data migration or system updates when necessary.
- Follow all company protocols, procedures, and privacy guidelines.
Qualifications & Requirements: Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associates or bachelors degree preferred.
- Previous experience in data entry, administrative support, or office operations is highly desirable.
- Experience working in a remote or virtual environment is an advantage.
Technical Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive).
- Familiarity with CRM systems, databases, or ERP tools is a plus.
- Excellent keyboarding and typing speed (minimum 45 words per minute) with high accuracy.
- Strong knowledge of file organization, data formats, and reporting basics.
