Job Title: Data Entry Clerk
Location: Moncton, NB
Job Type: Temp to Hire (Full time)
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Wage: $19.00/hour

Role Summary

We are seeking a detail ? oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our client's administrative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling financial and vendor-related data, ensuring smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare the daily deposit, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Collect cheques sent by mail and dropped off by drivers
  • Use High Radius scanning software to deposit cheques
  • Organize and scan all receiving documents for proper filing and record-keeping
  • Input vendor debits into the IDS system as required
  • Enter data from source documents into company databases or spreadsheets
  • Verify accuracy of data by cross ? checking with source documents and correcting errors
  • Update and maintain existing records and databases
  • Generate routine reports as requested by management
  • Organize and file documents (physical or electronic)
  • Backup data regularly and ensure data security and confidentiality
  • Handle data requests from other departments, ensuring swift access to up ? to ? date information
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as needed
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent (post ? secondary education or related certificate is a plus)
  • Previous experience in data entry or similar administrative role preferred
  • Excellent typing speed and accuracy; proficiency with keyboard / data entry tools
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and/or other spreadsheet software
  • Experience in QuickBooks and other accounting tools
