Qualifications

• At least 5 years of industry experience in software development using agile methods.
• Excellent understanding of database and data management concepts.
• At least 3 years of experience with Big Data technologies including Apache Hadoop, Hive, Sqoop, and Spark.
• Hands-on experience with Talend or a similar ETL tool.
• Experience with Java and/or Python.
• Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux CLI and shell scripting.
• Experience with GitHub, JIRA, Confluence, and Jenkins pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Champion a customer-focused culture and deepen client relationships.
• Participate in data engineering and transformation design.
• Contribute to data ingestion, transformation, and extraction solutions in the Enterprise Big Data platform.
• Work with Data Architecture and QA teams to incorporate risk considerations.
• Ensure operational compliance and adequate business controls.
