Data Engineer is responsible for the foundational work of data preparation and transformation, ensuring data is ready for analysis and insight generation. This role bridges functional requirements with technical execution on big data platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Data preparation on ETL on Hive, Hadoop platform.
• Understanding data requirements from functional specifications and prepare test scenarios.
• Assisting in documenting data-sources, definitions and processes.
• Analyzing data in data-mart to draw insights using available data visualization tools.
• Assisting the team in generating insights to be communicated to business.

Prerequisites

• 2 years of experience in data engineering.
