Job summary
MKS Instruments seeks an SQE Intern to partner with Supplier Quality and cross-functional teams, generating process improvements and analytics for supplier quality performance.
The 12-week summer internship offers onboarding, meaningful projects, and exposure to multiple divisions. Applicants should be enrolled in a relevant degree with a December 2026–May 2027 graduation window and experience in data analytics tools.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program for Industrial Engineering/Operations Management/Supply Chain or relevant majors with an expected graduation date between December 2026-May 2027.
- Project management skills.
- Practical experience in data analytic software (Power BI, Spotfire, etc.)
- Familiarity with ERP system is a plus (Oracle or SAP).
- Qualified candidates must be US persons.
Responsibilities
- Work with relevant SQE to work on process and data analytics to develop efficient reporting and process to execute supplier quality activities.
- Assist assigned SQE to drive improvement with applicable suppliers.
- Assist the Supplier Quality & Purchasing in the management of supplier non-conformities and drive resolution.
- Monitor and publish key supplier quality metrics to improve visibility.
