CAI is seeking a Mechanical Commissioning Engineer in Toronto, Ontario. CAI seeks Mechanical Commissioning Engineers with experience in Data Center Commissioning to support development and execution of all mechanical aspects of commissioning projects.
This position supports development and execution of all mechanical aspects of assigned commissioning projects from initial engagement, design reviews, checklists, safety support, script development, vendor coordination, testing and report development through turnover to the client. The Mechanical Commissioning Engineer will support the development of the mechanical test schedule, finalize mechanical test procedures, review project submittals for consistency with the design intent, basis of design and the owner’s project requirements, and maintain project cadence for the mechanical systems testing and associated Building Automation Systems. The Mechanical Commissioning Engineer is to support the planning and execution of commissioning for the mechanical infrastructure of the mission critical facility. They will be expected to execute against the project schedule through the coordination of contractors and/or vendors to complete the desired mechanical systems testing.
