Designing overall tests: test plans, test cases, objectives, scenarios, and steps with a realistic operational context
Preparing for test sessions by aligning Impact Analysis reports and scheduling validation meetings
Executing test sessions, producing test reports, and performing customer acceptance tests
Specifying, designing, developing, and validating test environments and tools
Supporting defect investigations detected in the factory or from the site
Managing V&V work products under configuration management
Ensuring test traceability against requirements
Supporting sub‑systems validation teams in their execution
Providing workload estimates to support overall project scheduling
We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:
At least 10 years of experience in signalling, particularly in V&V, Design, or Application
Experience or understanding of Integrated Control Center (ATS, SCADA, Security), Interlocking, PTC, CBTC, or Cybersecurity
Knowledge of software development (C++/C#), validation, and document verification
Familiarity with IT infrastructure, converged/hyper‑converged infrastructure, or SQL databases
A basic understanding of scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Shell) and Linux environments
Knowledge of Microsoft Windows server roles, TCP/IP networking, and cybersecurity (NIST‑800)
Experience with test tooling environments, automation, and transport signalling systems
System Administration experience or knowledge
You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you’ll be proud. If you’re up for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you!
