A community organization in Canada is seeking volunteers to help collect and manage data for political representation. Responsibilities include gathering and visualizing data related to by-elections and municipal boundaries. This opportunity provides valuable experience in the data sector, networking prospects, and mentorship from professionals. A reference letter and certificates will be issued upon completion.
Learn data skills, and collaborate with data teams for project success! 1. Collect and clean data to ensure the accuracy of information on political representation at the federal, provincial, and municipal levels of government. Regularly update existing data with information on by-elections. 2. Stay informed by monitoring by-election news and collecting relevant data. 3. Gather GIS data for municipal ward boundaries. 4. Develop visualizations based on data from Statistics Canada and other publicly available government sources. You will be asked to collaborate closely with our data manager and coordinators to ensure the successful completion of projects or tasks.
