Job summary

Konrad is seeking a Data Architect in Canada to design, build, and maintain scalable data platforms and pipelines. You will work closely with data analysts, scientists, and engineers to ensure reliable, secure data solutions using Fabric, Databricks, and Snowflake.

The role emphasizes data modelling, ETL/ELT, and optimizing workflows for performance and compliance. A 5+ year track record and strong SQL/Python skills are required, with hybrid work options in Toronto.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.
• Strong programming skills in SQL, Python, or related languages.
• Deep proficiency in data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, and Snowflake.
• Hands-on experience with data pipeline tools, cloud services, and storage solutions.
• Experience with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, Kafka).
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Nice to Have: Azure/AWS/GCP Data Engineering certifications; familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD.

About The Role

As a Data Architect you’ll be tasked with designing, building, and maintaining scalable data platforms and pipelines. Your deep knowledge of data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, and Snowflake will be essential as you collaborate closely with data analysts, scientists, and other engineers to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient data solutions.

The estimated compensation for this position is $130,000 to $160,000. This is an estimate and a compensation offer will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities and alignment with market data.
