We're looking for a Data Architect to lead the design and evolution of our enterprise data architecture, ensuring data is secure, accessible, and positioned to support strategic business outcomes.

What We're Looking For:

• You bring a combination of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and relationship-building skills, including:


• Demonstrated experience designing, building, and supporting enterprise data solutions using cloud-based data platforms, data lakes, data warehousing technologies, storage solutions, and orchestration tools.


• Experience with Azure Databricks, VaultSpeed, OneLake, Delta Lake, Amazon S3, Data Factory, Stream Analytics, Synapse, or comparable technologies.


• Strong understanding of data modeling, database design, integration patterns, and agile implementation.


• Knowledge of enterprise BI and reporting architecture, including semantic modelling, reporting frameworks, and visualization platforms such as Power BI and Cognos.


• Experience guiding architecture discussions and influencing strategic technology decisions.


• Experience within the insurance industry is considered an asset.


• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.


• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

The skills and experience for this role are typically gained through a four-year degree in a relevant field of study, like Computer Science, Mathematics & Applied Science, Engineering, or Information Technology, or defined equivalency, along with six years experience in data architecture, modeling, or related technology roles with experience in Azure or cloud-based data platforms, enterprise data solutions, and data integration initiatives. A certification in a recognized data management or architecture discipline (e.g., CDMP, TOGAF, Data Vault) is considered an asset.
