Opportunity
BDO Canada is looking for a Data Analyst to join our National Assurance team, responsible for supporting our Assurance practice and owning the following responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Manage support of ASR related dashboards using PowerBI.
- Respond to ASR‑related data analysis requests from stakeholders using Databricks.
- Identify new dashboards that may be required to support business needs.
- Support users in various applications within BDO Assurance practice.
- Perform user acceptance testing of new ASR‑related application releases and deployments.
- Collaborate with teams to drive business growth by leveraging analytics techniques and tools, such as defining an analytics framework, identifying strategic KPIs, segmentation, and dashboard creation.
- Analyze structured and unstructured data across platforms to create reports and dashboards from scratch.
- Communicate actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Develop data‑driven solutions to support core business objectives.

Experience & Education
- You possess a strong proficiency in both MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- A strong proficiency with data visualization tools like PowerBI is considered an asset but not required.
- You possess exceptional analytical and data mining skills.
- You possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex findings to senior leaders.
- You possess exceptional problem‑solving, time management, and organizational abilities.
- You possess a keen attention to detail along with a strong business acumen.
