Global Technical Talent, an Inc. 5000 Company, is hiring a Data Analyst - ADF Databricks in Toronto. The contract role spans 6 months with potential extension, hybrid onsite—Thursdays and the 4th Friday of each month.

You will work within Global Asset Management Technology, focusing on advanced Databricks functionality and data governance. The ideal candidate brings 7+ years with ADF, Databricks, and Azure Functions (C#), plus strong Python skills and experience with Unity Catalog and secure

Formación

• 7 years of experience with ADF, Databricks and Azure Functions (C#).
• Proficient in Python/notebook on Databricks/Spark/Pandas.
• Experience with Unity Catalog and data governance setup.
• Conversant with loading data via ADF to Databricks using Medallion architecture.
• Experience migrating Databricks workspace to Unity Catalog and managing permissions.
• Strong design of delta tables with security considerations.
• DevOps and deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Enterprise for ADF and Databricks.
• Experience with Azure AD Entra ID for SSO/RBAC and Azure PaaS resources.

Responsabilidades

• Lead data integration and engineering tasks across ADF and Databricks.
• Develop and optimize pipelines using Medallion architecture.
• Design delta table schemas with proper properties and permissions.
• Configure and maintain Unity Catalog and data governance rules.
• Oversee DevOps pipelines for deployment to ADF and Databricks.
• Work with Azure Entra ID for access control and security.
• Collaborate with a small team and provide technical leadership.
