Are you passionate about using data to fight fraud? Join our Digital Forensics and Fraud Analytics team and help us stay one step ahead of fraudulent activity. We're looking for a Data Analyst who thrives on uncovering insights, building smart models, and collaborating across teams to protect our business and customers.

What You’ll Do
  • Design and implement fraud detection queries, reports, and models using SQL and Power BI.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts and cross-functional stakeholders to assess fraud scenarios and validate results.
  • Continuously improve fraud prevention strategies in response to emerging risks and technologies.
  • Maintain clear documentation, query libraries, and data dictionaries.
  • Ensure all analytics work complies with privacy, security, and data protection standards.
What You Bring
  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field of study, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in data analytics, ideally within fraud or risk-related domains.
  • High proficiency in SQL, Power BI, Git/GitHub, and Excel.
  • Familiarity with data visualization and dashboarding tools.
  • Microsoft Data Analyst, Scientist, or Engineer training - or a willingness to obtain it.
  • Strong analytical skills – able to interpret data, identify trends, and generate actionable insights.
  • Clear and effective communication skills – able to tailor messaging to different audiences and present data in a meaningful way.
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities – able to prioritize tasks and adapt to shifting timelines.
  • A curious, self-motivated learner – quick to grasp new concepts and technologies.
  • English is requirement, written and verbal, to provide services to our customers and communicate with internal stakeholders.
  • Security Clearance Requirement: In conjunction with our contract with the Federal Government, you will be required to have Reliability Status Clearance (Enhanced Level B). This includes Fingerprinting, Criminal Record Check, Credit Check and you must have resided in Canada for at least 5 years and hold Permanent Resident or Citizenship Status.
Assets
  • Experience in healthcare, insurance, or related industry.
  • Familiarity with corporate risk environments.
  • Experience with Python or R.
  • Bilingualism (ENG/FR).
