Your Next Challenge:

Reporting to the Continuous Improvement Superintendent, you will be part of the Business Improvement Department. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.

Data Analysis & Insights
  • Collect, clean, and analyze operational and project data from various mine systems.
  • Identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement through data-driven analysis.
  • Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for project teams and leadership.
  • Develop and maintain reports and visualizations to support performance tracking and strategic planning.
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy in KPI reporting across departments.
  • Support monthly and quarterly communications with data summaries and visual aids.
  • Work closely with all departments to define data needs and support project execution.
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement across operations.
  • Assist in the development of data models and tools that enhance decision-making.
  • Support the integration and optimization of BI tools and data systems.
  • Recommend improvements to data collection, storage, and reporting processes.
  • Ensure data governance and quality standards are upheld.
  • Coordinate with the corporate BI team to communicate site data needs and ensure data availability.
What You Need To Succeed
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field;
  • 2–5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in the mining, manufacturing, or heavy industry sector;
  • Proficient in Power BI, Excel (advanced), and SQL (for querying and validation);
  • Experience in Power Apps and Power Automate is ideal;
  • Experience with PI System (OSIsoft) is highly favourable;
  • Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills;
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally;
  • Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy;
  • Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
Your Work Schedule

Schedule: 40 hours per week Monday - Friday. A combination of tele-working with presence at our offices in Sudbury, Timmins, Toronto, North Bay or Kirkland Lake and occasional visits to Macassa Mine Site.
