Job summary

The Coca-Cola Company is seeking a Quality Technician for its Peterborough, Ontario facility. You will operate and calibrate laboratory instruments, conduct routine audits on the production floor, and ensure product quality through data capture and GLP/GMP practices.

Qualifications

• Two-year college diploma in Food Science, Dairy Science, Microbiology, Chemistry or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years hands-on experience in a manufacturing lab or quality environment.
• Experience operating complex laboratory equipment with GLP/GMP familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Operate, calibrate, and maintain lab instrumentation for testing ingredients, products, and environment.
• Conduct routine quality audits, sampling on production floor, and document results.
• Use SAP for traceability and data capture across batches.
• Prepare test solutions and reagents following specs while upholding GLPs.
• Record data accurately and maintain logs for regulatory compliance.
• Perform sensory evaluation of dairy products to assess quality.
• Communicate deviations promptly and assist with root-cause verification.
• Maintain lab inventory and support GMPs across areas.
• Assist training and cross-functional collaboration for quality culture.
