Job summary

Walmart Canada Corp in Salmon Arm, BC is seeking a Dairy/Frozen Associate to deliver customer service in a fast-paced retail environment. You will keep the Dairy/Frozen department clean, well zoned, and stocked to ensure fresh products are available and customers are served promptly.

Responsibilities include maintaining organization, rotating stock, pricing and signing, ensuring cold chain and food safety standards, merchandising features, and upholding health and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Keeps the Dairy/Frozen department clean, organized, and properly zoned to be customer-ready at all times.
• Rotates merchandise regularly and checks for expired products to maintain freshness and quality standards.
• Ensures merchandise is accurately signed and priced. Follows procedures for ordering, clearance, markups and markdowns, signing, flagging, pricing, and labeling.
• Adheres to cold chain and food safety standards, including temperature checks, thermometer calibration, proper food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, expiration dates, and sanitation and cleaning procedures.
• Maintains department features to support merchandising standards and promotional execution.
• Maintains a neat, clean, and hazard-free work area by removing debris, spills, and unnecessary items, and by following all Company policies and Health and Safety guidelines.
• Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
