Walmart Canada is hiring a Dairy/Frozen Associate in Toronto to deliver friendly service while keeping the Dairy and Frozen departments clean, organized, and well stocked.

Responsibilities

• Keeps the Dairy/Frozen department clean, organized, and properly zoned to ensure it is customer-ready at all times.
• Rotates merchandise regularly and checks for expired products to maintain freshness and quality standards.
• Ensures merchandise is accurately signed and priced. Follows procedures for ordering, clearance, markups and markdowns, signing, flagging, pricing, and labeling.
• Adheres to cold chain and food safety standards, including temperature checks, thermometer calibration, proper food handling, product rotation, sell‑by dates, expiration dates, and sanitation and cleaning procedures.
• Maintains department features to support merchandising standards and promotional execution.
• Keeps a neat, clean, and hazard‑free work area by removing debris, spills, and unnecessary items, and by following all Company policies and Health and Safety guidelines.
• Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
• High Task Volume in a Fast-Paced Environment
• Overnight hours may be required.
• Standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting inventory, equipment, or supplies weighing up to 50 lbs.

Stock Rotation and Product Quality

Rotates merchandise regularly and checks for expired products to maintain freshness and quality standards.

Pricing, Signing, and Inventory Accuracy

Ensures merchandise is accurately signed and priced. Follows established procedures for ordering, clearance, markups and markdowns, signing, flagging, pricing, and labeling.

Cold Chain, Food Safety, and Sanitation

Adheres to cold chain and food safety standards, including temperature checks, thermometer calibration, proper food handling, product rotation, sell‑by dates, expiration dates, and sanitation and cleaning procedures.

Merchandising and Feature Maintenance

Maintains department features to support merchandising standards and promotional execution.

Safety, Cleanliness, and Compliance
