Walmart Canada in Guelph, Ontario is seeking a Dairy/Frozen Associate to deliver excellent customer service while maintaining and stocking the Dairy/Frozen area. You will assist with signing and pricing, adhere to cold chain and food safety standards, and support store operations in a fast-paced retail environment.

Minimum age is 16+. The role offers on-site work with a starting pay of CAD 17.75 per hour, with growth opportunities within merchandising, inventory, and customer service.

Responsabilités

• Zones the department.
• Rotates stock and checks for expired products.
• Ensures merchandise is properly signed and priced.
• Adheres to standards for cold chain, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell‑by dates, and expiration dates.
• Follows food safety and handling procedures and sanitation practices.
• Follows procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.
• Maintains features.
• Keeps the area neat, clean, organized, and free of debris.

What you’ll do…

1. Zones the department.

4. Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell‑by dates, and expiration dates.
5. Adheres to food safety and handling procedures and following sanitation and cleaning procedures.
6. Follows proper procedures for; Ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.
7. Maintains features.
8. Keeps the area neat clean, and organized, and free of fixtures, unnecessary debris, foreign objects, and liquids.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $17.75.
