Job summary

Kibbi Technologies Inc. is seeking an experienced farm worker to manage dairy cattle, supervise milking operations, and support on-site staff at our facility.

You will perform calf- and herd-management tasks, monitor animal health, assist with breeding, and carry out general farm duties in a fast-paced environment, with relocation to the site as needed.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of dairy farming experience.
  • Experience with milking systems and animal welfare
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment

Responsibilities

  • Develop and guide the behaviour of farm animals
  • Examine milking operations to ensure adherence to safety regulations or standards
  • Handling animals
  • Monitor the calving process
  • Monitoring animal health
  • Prepare a clean, dry area for cows that are calving
  • Raise and breed livestock and poultry
  • Perform general farm duties
  • Recruit, hire and supervise staff and/or volunteers
