Job summary

GovTech Talent Solutions Inc. seeks a hands-on full-stack developer to translate business requirements into robust applications. You will design, build, test, and deploy scalable web apps using React/TypeScript on the front end and ASP.NET Core/C# on the back end, with Azure cloud services.

You will create and consume RESTful APIs, implement CI/CD pipelines, collaborate across cross-functional teams, and ensure security and performance best practices in a dynamic environment.

Project Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into working, tested applications, including developing detailed technical specifications, writing code, conducting unit testing, and supporting solution implementation.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain full-stack web applications using modern development frameworks and cloud technologies.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs to support application integration and business processes.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, technical leads, quality assurance teams, and stakeholders throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, integration, and production support issues.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards, security requirements, and best practices.
• Support CI/CD implementation and automation using Azure DevOps and related tools.
• Contribute to solution design, technical architecture, effort estimation, and technical documentation.
• Support application deployment, migration, and modernization initiatives within Azure cloud environments.

Qualifications & Requirements

REQUIRED:

• Must be able to work 5 days onsite per week in Toronto
• Experience in application design, development, testing, implementation, and support.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with IT professionals throughout the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Experience with structured methodologies for application development, implementation, and maintenance.
• Experience designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting, and supporting enterprise applications.
• Experience with object-oriented programming principles and modern development frameworks.
• Experience working with one or more modern programming languages.
• Experience with relational database technologies and SQL.
• Experience eliciting and documenting technical and business requirements from stakeholders and subject matter experts.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively within Agile delivery teams and meet project deadlines.
• Proficiency in both front-end and back-end application development, including database design, cloud services, and DevOps practices.
• Experience designing and implementing scalable web application architectures.

• Experience designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-grade REST API services.
• Experience integrating front-end applications with RESTful APIs.

• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure services, including: Azure App Service, Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage Accounts, Azure Logic Apps, Azure API Management, Azure DevOps
• Experience with source control and branching strategies using Git.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience in Angular, Azure, React, Logic Apps Azure SQL, App Services - C+, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Spring Boot, Java, and ASP.Net Core.
• Demonstrated experience developing web applications using React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Demonstrated experience developing backend services and APIs using ASP.NET Core and C#.
• Experience with Azure services, including Azure App Service, Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage Accounts, and Azure API Management.
• Experience implementing and supporting CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Git.
• Strong full‑stack development experience, including application architecture, database design, and cloud deployment.

EVALUATION CRITERIA:

Technical Skills - 80%

• Proficiency in React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, ASP.NET Core, and C#.
• Experience designing and developing reusable, maintainable, and scalable front‑end components and application frameworks.
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Strong knowledge of application architecture, database design, system integration, and cloud-based solutions.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure services, including Azure App Service, Azure SQL Database, Azure API Management, and Azure Storage Accounts.
